The standard trunks come with a shallow tray and a deep one with a handle (a carrying tote) as shown inside the Longmeadow trunk in the insert picture. If however, you are gong to use the trunk primarily for storing blankets, tackroom drapes, or saddles, two shallow trays might be more useful. The rider's tray have the advantage of having the divided compartments in one and space in the other for long things such as martingales.

 

The large trunk has 8" deep trays, and the one for a small trunk is 6" deep for storing larger items. The shallow tray is 3" deep.
